& Wellness Counseling

Heidi M. Holmquist is a Licensed Acupuncturist
(L.Ac.) and an East Asian Medicine Practitioner
(EAMP). Her unique approach combines
acupuncture with herbal formulas, nutritional
counseling and various bodywork modalities to
create custom treatments based upon each
individual and their specific needs. In addition
to the relief of symptoms, Heidi's treatments
are designed to promote the balance of internal rhythms and harmonies
natural to the heart, mind and body.

Heidi earned her M.S. from the American College of Traditional Chinese
Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco and holds a B.A. in Environmental
Studies from the University of Washington. She received clinical training
at the ACTCM Auricular & Community Clinic, California Pacific Medical
Center and Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic. In 2010, Heidi completed an
internship at the Shanghai University of TCM with clinical rounds at the
prestigious Yue Yang Integrated Hospital in Shanghai, China. Additionally,
she apprenticed with orthopedic and sports medicine TCM specialists.

She is currently working on a clinical doctorate degree at Bastyr University in
Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine, with a focus on the
treatment and management of pain.

Heidi grew up in Marblemount, WA, a small town at the foothills of the
North Cascades National Park. The pristine nature and environmentally
conscious community instilled in her the value of balance within oneself
and the environment. Her undergraduate education deepened her
appreciation of the critical importance of living in harmony with the
natural environment. In pursuit of her desire to promote healthful living,
she chose a career in natural medicine.
