Heidi M. Holmquist is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine (DAOM), Licensed Acupuncturist (LAc) in California, and a licensed Acupuncture & Eastern Medicine Practitioner (AEMP) in Washington state. She is Nationally Certified with the NCCAOM, Dry Needling certified and has completed a 200-hour RYT certificate, her education included training in restorative yoga and yoga nidra. Her unique approach combines acupuncture with herbal formulas, nutritional counseling, and various bodywork modalities to create custom treatments based upon each individual and their specific needs. In addition to the relief of symptoms, Heidi's treatments are designed to promote the balance of internal rhythms and harmonies, natural to the heart, mind, and body.
Heidi earned her M.S. from the American College of Traditional Chinese
Medicine (ACTCM) in San Francisco and holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Washington. She received clinical training at the ACTCM Auricular & Community Clinic, California Pacific Medical Center and Haight-Ashbury Free Clinic. In 2010, Heidi completed an internship at the Shanghai University of TCM with clinical rounds at the prestigious Yue Yang Integrated Hospital in Shanghai, China. Additionally, she apprenticed with orthopedic and sports medicine TCM specialists.
In 2018, Heidi completed a doctorate degree at Bastyr University in Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine with a focus on the treatment and management of pain. The clinical hours for this degree were done with several medical practitioners using varying approaches to the treatment of pain and the associated symptoms.

Heidi grew up in Marblemount, WA, a small town at the foothills of the
North Cascades National Park. The pristine nature and environmentally
conscious community instilled in her the value of balance within oneself
and the environment. Her undergraduate education deepened her
appreciation of the critical importance of living in harmony with the natural
environment. In pursuit of her desire to promote healthful living,
she chose a career in natural medicine.
