Health & Safety Notice COVID-19 Update:

Due to the current COVID-19 situation, special precautions must be made for the health and safety of everyone in our community. Our office is currently not accepting patients with the following: (within the past 2 weeks)
- Cold or flu symptoms
- Fever
- Upper respiratory infections such as cough or pneumonia
- Difficulty breathing and/or cough
- Recent travel to quarantined areas or exposure to others who have recently traveled to those areas
- Exposure to a suspected or confirmed COVID-19 case

We are also advising anyone that falls within the higher-risk categories (60+/immune compromised/chronic disease/pregnant) to consider rescheduling at this time to protect your health.

I am happy to reschedule your treatment to a later date or you can opt for a telemedicine appointment which will include a phone consult, a thorough in-home treatment plan and possibly herbal medicine delivered via mail.

In accordance with Washington Department of Health laws, we adhere to strict hygiene standards always.  Practitioners wash their hands immediately prior to, during, and after your appointment. Door handles and other high-incident touch areas are regularly cleaned. Our priority is your health and safety.

Although you may feel well, exposure is still a risk to others who have a weakened immune system, especially the elderly. If you believe you may have been exposed to COVID-19, the recommendation is to self-quarantine for 14 days and to contact your local Department of Public Health.

If you do not feel you have been exposed, your best defense to avoid exposure is to:
•Clean hands with hot water and soap for 20 seconds frequently
•Avoid touching your face
•Avoid crowded areas
•Maintain your health with a balanced diet, regular exercise, and sufficient sleep
•Stay hydrated

Feel free to contact me with any questions or concerns.

Sincerely,

Dr. Heidi Holmquist
